The Dalay Limitada Blend once again presents a fascinating combination of long-aged and juicy young tobaccos. The overall impressive maturation time amounts to 50 years. Our proven blueprint relies on tobaccos that thread like a common theme through all our editions: the indigenous Flor de Carbonell and the avant-garde 20/20 seed, which was already used in the debut of the Limitada in 2014. With a farewell tribute from our “Criollo 98” harvested in 2008, we have incorporated the last quantities of this filler tobacco into this cigar.

The good news is that our partners are cultivating this tobacco again on the same fields with the same farmers in the heart of the Dominican Cibao Valley. These plots, distinguished as “Zona A” with the highest quality rating, yield magnificent crops. For the impressive 57-ring gauge, we have acquired a new tobacco that imparts a seductive, rich sweetness to the blend and is grown in close proximity to the Haitian border. We are particularly proud of the additional meticulous fermentation of the wrapper, which was successfully applied in our predecessor model. Although this entails a loss of about 10% of the harvest, it significantly enhances the quality of our wrappers through refinement.
