This 70 ring gauge thicky was at one point in time the thickest cigar on the German market. Love for cigars with a big ring gauge has grown a lot since then. There are many big cigars now but this one is ours and we love it. We are sure you will too. It is short and fun to smoke. But make no mistake – it is not a short smoke. It will take you a good part of an hour to enjoy the Dalay Dunkel Super Gordo. Super Gordo translates to “Super Thick”. It has the original Dalay Dunkel blend with a few extra leaves for an even burn and a great draw. Enjoy its full-bodied Maduro sweetness and dark notes of spices and demerara sugar. Delicate notes of chocolate and spices round out the taste profile of the Dalay Dunkel Short Robusto. We’ve decided on a box-pressed instead of a round profile for the nice handling and mouthfeel. Sometimes box-pressed cigars can have a draw that is too light or too heavy. We have spent a lot of time perfecting the draw that never draws too heavy and at the same time develops a lot of creamy textured smoke.

Dalay Dunkel
‘Dunkel‘ in German translates to dark and describes the flavor profile very well. Dark roasted nuts and coffee, dark dried fruits and dark sugar cane are the cigar’s main aromas. Pair it with a strong IPA or a deep red wine. Dalay Dunkel cigars are all hand-rolled long-filler cigars which are made in the Dominican Republic by our own tabacalera Zauberberg. The carefully selected blend by our own master blender Michael Grossklos makes these mild to medium bodied cigars in strength and very creamy in texture.
